I am looking into getting a 2005 SL55 or SL600 and then highly modifying it. I use to have a Renntech E60 and was very satisfied with it in the engine and suspension department. I also know that Brabus and Kleeman make kits for the SL55 and SL600. Does anyone have feedback and input with either vehicle?

 

I don't have either, but, turbocharged cars are always easier to modify than supercharged ones. I would get the 600 and go from there.

I had a Renntech Sl55

and the mods really didn't do that much. Infact my pre mod 1/4 mile track time best at GLD was 12.8. my post renntech track time was 12.8 as well.

However, I then Picked up an SL600 and renntech'd it and there was a huge difference. My 1/4 mile time went from 12.4 to 11.8.

..........still not faster than a chipped turbo...maybe in the upper rpm range.....not mid range.
