On a side note, I despised the look of the car until I saw it in person, and after getting to spend a good amount of time with the car and witnessing the comfort and improvements they made to the car, I must admit I now love the car.
Is the interior bigger now?? i am 6'4" and the old interior was a bit cramped for my legs...

A hair slower than the SLR and better torque curve than the 65?

How is that possible? It's got over 738 lb.-ft. of torque???

So basically, it'll turn laps almost as fast as a GT3? What did they do, lighten the car by 1000lbs.?

This I gotta see...

I also have a few questions with.. ''it turns a time a hair slower then an SLR'' The engine is the same (63)and the SL is one of the heavier AMG's.
hmm maybe the gear box is helping the new engine out?
could it be revised suspension work and other little goodies?

it has all new gearbox without the torque converter so gearchanges are much quicker... so maybe thats why? I still have hard time beliving it could be hair slower than SLR.

honestly, Im not awfully surprised...AMG continues to outdo itself quite often...haha

and thats not a bad thing that it could be just a nip slower, more reason for a new MCL project...haha
