C63 on HRE MONOBLOCKS - Happy but Sad

I am happy and sad...Ordered these wheels 2 months ago...in preparation for the arrival of my 63...go to put them on today....and they poke out in the rear too much. Not to mention they rub. The fronts are a little aggressive too, but don't rub. Can't shave them down in rear because there is barely any pad to shave. Hopefully I can get this squared away with WB on Monday. Now I am probably going to have to wait weeks and weeks for new ones..Winter is creeping up in NY....Enjoy whats there....Car is dirty, rained like a monster today.

I know you from e90post.com
Your c63 looks awesome but the wheels are a little too agessive. Make the person you bought them from buy them back because they dont fit as promised. The company should have not sold those to you knowing they would be off that much. Have them replace it with a less agressive set. The wheels style and color are a PERFECT match so I can see whay your disappointed. When they fir you will have one SICK ride. Best of luck with it.

That sucks, sorry. maybe WB can make it right. For the rest of us, what size wheel and tire combo do we NOT want to get for our c63's?

Well since WB has done the monoblocks in 20" on C63's before..I thought this would be a no-brainer...

I have a 20x9 and 20x10 on the car...245x30 and 285x25 tire...It's the offset that is too low on the wheels....

Dont worry man wheelsboutique will take excellent care of you. Remember though, WB doesnt build the wheels, hre does, so im sure it was just a small miscalculation on their part. I have no doubt youll be put in front on hre's list to get your problem fixed and quickly.

JUST SO YOU KNOW, that thing still looks great to me, when the wheels are fixed man oh man will you be envied till you sell the car.

Due to the rubbing, is the car undriveable? Or do you not want to drive it? Is any damage caused to the car/wheels/tires/etc. due to the rubbing?

Yeah..in the rear the edges of the tires were peeling...and it would THUMP everytime I went over a bump..rub is being nice...the front's were fine..but one of the white pinstripes was peeling...so they need to get taken care of as well...just so upsetting.
