Improving on AMG's fantastic 6.3L V8 our beautifully finished carbon fiber performance airboxes increase both engine power and torque. In addition, their increased volume and optimized shape smoothe power delivery and sharpen throttle response.

A great stand alone modification and an essential upgrade to vehicles with exhaust and/or software upgrades.

Kit includes pair of airboxes, performance air filters and replacement front engine cover.

• Substantial increase in airbox volume compared to factory component.
• Autoclaved pre-preg carbon fiber construction, clear coatad with automotive urethane and hand polished to a mirror finish.

Is this the same unit that VRP is selling for the 63's? If so it's a great piece, I have had one on my Black Series for a little over a month now and it offers noticiable improvment on throttle responce and it's beautiful as well, my opinion is that the looks alone are worth the investment.

Well if that is the case I highly recomend this item. Looks and performs great on my heavily modded CLK Black Series.

I'm currently awaiting a PST carbon fiber drive shaft, ETA 2 weeks. Next mods planned for this coming winter inlcude head work and cams. My goal is 560-575whp on motor...only 60 hp to go

Has anyone actually tested(A-B) this air box at the track? It does look nice, but I wonder about the performance gains.
