Arrow Mclaren SLR for $259K!

I was searching around on autotrader.com, and I found this:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...1&rdpage=thumb

A 2005 McMerc SLR for only $259K. This economical crisis has really taken its toll on supercars. Its hard to believe that just a few years ago SLR'S were being sold for 1-2 mill. I guess soon I will be able to afford my favorite car.

P.S, the only flaw of the car is the rims. They gotta go.

When the SLR was first came to the U.S, they were hot. So dealers such as Mercedes-benz of laguna Nigel and Flecther Jones Motorcars wouldn't have accepted any offers below 1 mill.

SLR was MSRP $440K when they hit the dealers. Is was same as CGT. There were up and down with used market. CGT is getting back to 400K range but SLR drop to mid 200K. For this price, is such a good buy.

Good for them! My local dealership had a poor 100k markup

Great, never seen a SLR trade above $500K, let alone a mil or two.
Great price nevertheless, I'd buy that ASAP if i had the $$.

its a typical mercedes resale, The second you drive them off the lot knock off 10-15% of the cost and keep adding anoth 5-10% each year after on the AMG cars.

I actually don't even think this is a great deal at $234k in light of the color, miles and economy. I was offered a 2006 black/black with 3k miles for $260k. That's a much better deal being a year newer, arguably a better color, and significantly less miles. I think you're going to see the earlier cars dip to $200k before long.

I'm sorry but i never thought the the SLR was worth it's dough. It a glorified SL65 for double the price. Great car but way overpriced imo for some other exotics you can have for hte same coin. Not to metion its ugly.
