Thoughts on an 05 E55
Hello folks, I was wondering if I could get some feed back on the 05 E55 model. I am currently looking for a used daily and was wondering what the reliability of the car is. Any issues that I should be concerned about. How does the car handle and feel on the road. I would appreciate your thoughts and comments.

The auction prices were posted on mbworld. Below is a list of issues that ive been compiling, this should save you a couple of weeks of research. I also posted a list of available options.
Issues:
1 Cooling needs upgrade--either pump and/or HE
2 The SC pulley may need to be replaced every 2-3 yrs cause it "chirps" and engages suddenly.
3 Air suspension is prone to problems and expensive to fix (VRP coilover suspension kit)
4 Tranny (verify hp/tq ratings - VRP tranny upgrade)
5 sbc braking Sensonic Brake Control?
6 squeaking clutch (i/c?)
7 stalling
8 i/c pump ($200-500 fix)
9 diverter valve - ($1,000 part $1,000 labor)
10 supercharger - (frys only when modded? replace price $5,000-$10,000)

Front and Rear Parking Sensors
Heated Front and Rear Seats
