my vote goes to E63. once you've experienced a 4 door saloon with that much torque, you can never look at things quite the same.

911S if you dont need rear seats. hands down, the best car I've ever had.
CLK Black sounds/looks great. No back seat, but if you can find one.... its awesome. Got the chance to drive a friends at MSR. Great exhaust, great engine best MB steering I've ever experienced.
E63 if you need rear seats and you like torque but don't want to track it.
C63 if you only occasionally need rear seats and really will not track it that much
M3 if you plan to occasionally track it

The 996 GT3/GT2 forum on the other big porsche site (R E N N _ _ _ _) has several for sale ranging from low $50's to price points higher. The "For Sale" forum at that same site also has a couple for sale - just do a site search there (mine's actually listed as well).

You can find some nice Aston Martin's and Bentley CGT's for under $70k now too, I think I even saw an 05 Arnage with the newer grill for around there! Obviously different type of car, but certainly a good one.

wow... I just checked autotrader and you can get a 04 Bentley CGT for $60k, or even better, an 04 Arnage T for $69k! crazy- the quality and craftsmanship you get for such a low price.

Does anyone know what it's like to maintain these cars? I figure the Continental is cheaper than the more expensive, lower production models? Although I'd much rather have an Arnage over a Continental

A good friend of mine has a 2006 SL55 with something like 16k if not less on it... Kicker is it has Diamond Blue or Diamond Silver paint… It’s a very rare color that he ordered from Mercedes, there are only a few in the states. During the day in bright sun light the car is blue… but at night or cloudy days the car is silver/grey. Its pretty sick… very subtle color change.

He was talking about getting rid of it, I can ask what he wants for it if you are interested.
