JBONDOx is infamous around these parts
renntech has already made head wind on this with a 630 HP / 765 LB-FT rear wheels on their dyno.

I don't want to be disrespectful to Hennessey for what they accomplished with vettes and vipers, but this car is a long way from just that. I know you guys go for crazy horsepower but sometimes you guys exceed the limitations of the vehicle, be it the tires, tranny, or motor.

With Hatmuth's relationship with MB and AMG I would definately not look elsewhere for anyone working on this vehicle, possibly Brabus, but they like to remove everything and do their own engine.

Again, not disrespecting ya's, but I, like you's have been messing with vehicles way too long, be it Domestic-Asain-European.

I am not saying the learning curve is any different, but when I call up Renntech about a MB I know the answer has already been asked or researched. I think just Hennessey is more domestic.

Let me say this also, if I were to outfit a vette, you'd be the first to call since Mallett is out of the game

Talked to Sanjay today before the dyno....not sure he is looking to change anything right now, John just ran the dyno. And it is a stingy dyno, by the way.

Hi Jbon, all we did was change the oil and filter and dyno the car. It is bone stock and made 580 rw hp.

Here is the HP curve:

As John said, no torque on this one, but it should be a bit higher than the 696 ft lbs achieved by Renntech in the second pic... More important is the shape of the curve.

The drive back from Sealy was enough to erase the frustration of driving this thing slow for 1000 miles. It really moves, esp for a stock vehicle. Very pleased with 580 rwhp on a tight, bone stock motor on a hot, humid day.

Thanks to John and the staff at Hennessey Performance Engineering for allowing me to use their facilities!

I re-read my post after a long week and did notice it was a bit condescending. I apologize for that, it really isn't me, but I guess I am very old school in my loyalties and after seeing too many screwed up vehicles (none from HP) I just freak a bit.

I am sure you seen your fair share over there and know what I mean. too many internet companies claiming BS and actually retarding the performance of the vehicles.

I look at most things from a business standpoint and think of the training and retooling it would cost to start a new product line and be an authority in it, instead of a me too.

For instance the 200mph shoot out you guys did and the McLaren failed to reach 200 which was speculated due to the wheels.

So this is where I will insert foot into mouth.

One of the dyno plots says 630 rwhp, is that graph for a car modified by Renntech?

Yeah, Renntech ECU only....but the torque curve is more impressive.
