You may end up going to Benz for that info. It sounds like no one has tried that size yet! Good luck on getting the info you need.

My guess it that they would fit but it all depends on the offset and the width you are going with. Almost guarantee that you will have rubbing when you hit bumps and pull in and out of driveways, gas stations...

I don't know if MB would have that info on it and or disclose that since they don't like big wheels on their cars. You might just have to wait a month or two and keep call the larger wheel companies to get that info.

Sorry I could not be more help but the car is just to new to know. I will run by MB later and take a look at the new E and see if I can give you a better answer.

Sweeeeeeet ^^^ I called Globe Tire here in LA on La Cienega Blvd. and they had no clue...yet, the car is out, (E550, same body, almost) but don't know if anyone has played with 21's yet on the "2010 E63", I do think the E63 will allow for a slightly wider set up over the 550 due to large flares, I believe?

The 2010 E63 (New body style) is not out yet. We have pics of it but it will not make its way to the states until late 09 - mid 2010.

Im sure the best fit for this car when it does come out will be 20x9 front 20x10 rear with and ET of around 38ish. These cars are hard to find wheels for due to their weight and massive brake size.

If you go up to a 21 on the AMG there is a good chance you will loose performance. 20s push it.

yeah I guess your going to be right about the brake size making it more difficult to find that it wheel, but why would performance be any different??? for street driving... I mean I see 22's on S63's all day long with no prob's? why would a E63 w/ 21's be ill advised, the car has been enlarged???

E's are a whole different beast compared to the S's... When you increase your wheel size you loose things like acceleration, stopping quickness, and handling.... but if you are just going for show and don't care about that stuff then I don't see it being a problem.

You are also going to run into problems finding 21s that will fit this car. Especially if you are looking for an aggressive sport style wheel

To be totally honest with you, your best bet is to go with 20s and lower the car. But like I said, we don’t exactly know what this car can house in terms of wheel size. (stock you can get 18s or 19s) You might be able to get 21s under there but you will prob have to go with a 20 side wall tire ( which will prop rub like hell over every bump and chew up you tires and you will prop loose turning radius) That will ride like sh*t being that the car is so heavy and depending where you live and the roads… those wheels will get bent all to hell with such low pro tires.

The new E63 can be dropped manually cant it?, without mod? I think ideal tire size will be 285 25 20 and 245 30 20 on a 20 X 10 1/2 and 20 X 9 wheel... 21's do seem like a stretch, but I am sure they would look sick though??? Can't wait for my new six tre return of the HAMMER, just imagine when Merc. throws turbos on this beast in a couple years, there will be no need for super cars anymore.......... *** I don't think they make a 20 series side wall for a 20 or 21 inch tire, do they??? Most likely Pzero Nero, I hope???

There are 3 modes for the suspension on the E63 (Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus) this does adjust the ride height some but will not drop as low as most would want. Generally an ELM (Electronic Lowering Modular) will need to be used or adjustable links.

As for the turbos…. Ummmm…. Personally I feel turbos are better in smaller and lager engines… like V4, V6 and V10, V12s…. but superchargers seem to produce raw power in v8s. I guess its apples and oranges.

Hey bulldog, just a question . If I use an ELM on my new leased 63, will that cause a problem for my warranty??? Look, I would vote for a supercharger or a Turbo on this beast, but I do know if I put a S.C. on this ride my warranty will def be void, Yeah, no Sh*t... *** P.S. I looked up 20 series tires and amazingly Pzero Nero does make a *** kicking 375 20 21, now I just need to fit that on the 212

Generally not but it all depends on you MB shop. Usually they will not black list you because of an ELM. But it you have issues with the suspension then they might peg it on the ELM and make you come out of pocket to fix it. Like I said it all depends on the MB shop... make friends up there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sure we will see a supercharger on the 6.2L before long by MB... all in due time.... easily pushing that thing up over 600ph. I love the supercharger in my 55.

Yeah, I figured someone makes them. There are tires that fit eveything now a day... it just depends how much you want to pay. haha
