Mercedes /AMG Conspiracy Theory

Dear DC Performance:
Do you guys do the Kleemann tune in-house, or do you have to send out the ECU? I am near L.A., and it would be great if you guys can do it in-house while I wait.

jlee,
Kleemann software is proprietary and all tunes are "installed" at the Kleemann USA headquarters in Colorado. If you want Kleemann programming, there is no flash-while-you-wait option. If you are unable to part with your car for a few days, we could definitely set you up with a PowerChip flash which can be done while you wait.

I do not see where you are seeing loss in power in "stock form". The car gained power throughout the entire RPM range.
We were very surprised to see this much of a gain in power over stock since we are VERY critical of testing before and after calibrations. Since this is a new 2009 C63, Kleemann had to create a file for this ECU. I would be curious to see a 2009 C63 Dyno before and after test to compare because I have yet to see a single 2009 C63 on the dyno or the results.
Personally, I own a 2005 E55 and a 2009 S63, and am familiar with the tunability of these AMG motors. I would like to test another 2009 C63 to see if we get the same results. I drove the car before and after the tune and there is a significant increase in power throughout the RPM range, as proven by our dynapack dyno. It seems to us we have a VERY strong 2009 C63.
Cheers!
