purchase some gloss black spray paint for plastics and take out the side markers and put a few coats on and put them back in - they look invisible and the front bumper looks fantastic! I did that when i had my black SL55 a couple years ago - Best cheap mod you can do

I dunno if this goes for the 05 SL55, but my buddy has a New SL63, and he went into Mercedes-Benz and had them lower the car through programming and he can raise and lower the car from inside (using the air suspension) I am not sure if this is possible with the 05 SL 55 - But I do believe it has air suspension too. So perhaps it is.

Looks incredible! The wheel choice is excellent, as well.

It does have air suspension and you can also lower the car using the STAR diagnostics tool like the SL63. I am going to use links to lower it....

It is quite useful as it keeps the bulk of the wind out at speed. You can listen to the radio or have a conversation without shouting. I also like the way it provides some privacy around town. I don't necessarily like to be on display with the top down. Cosmetically, I like the look with the roll bar up or down.

Thanks, it's commonly referred to as air suspension when in fact you are technically correct it does use hydraulics to raise and lower. Point is, it can be lowered with links.
