I am looking to replace my stable with either the cls500/cls550 or the s550 along with a SUV. This car is going to be primarily my car.

For owners of these cars, please tell me pros/cons, maint., reliability etc.

I tihnk CLS would be a better choice because the interior imo looks better but also the S550 is a better looking car nd is a bit more comfortable and has more room in the back

but ib never owned neither of these cars so i wouldnt know what DD them would feel like

 

Get the CLS63, its a muscle car and you will have fun driving it everyday. I"ve owned a 2008 CL550 and now the 2008 CLS63. I love the CLS63.

 

I am looking at both of those models as well....I am looking for a new sedan for my wife to replace her BMW 550i sport. Both cars are great. The CLS is sportier and has a more aggressive styling inside and out. The S class is all luxury, its like riding on a cloud, and the back seat is amazingly large, it all depends on your needs. I am leaning toward the CLS but the back seat is a joke. If you have another larger vehicle in the stable I would go CLS, I hope to find a mint 2007 CPO'd CLS 63, they are cheap right now.

the decision is made on the S550 AMG pkg.
Will not pull the trigger for few more months though.
