Coming from harsh sporty ride of M3, I'm considering a E55 AMG. If your previous car was soft and you are looking to change things around the go with M5.

Isn't the M5 getting a little long in the tooth? Great car, but compared to some new offerings, it just doesn't have the "wow" factor it once did.......

V8 TT
Personally I like 6.3L NA, because turbo power delivery is rather flat after 5000rpm. Also M5 weight is very heavy (new 550i is 1905Kg, M5 should be heavier maybe 2050Kg, as X6M is around 150Kg heavier than X6)
E63 is 1840Kg

We must wait and see the New M5.. Quite honestly ill take the M5 over the e63 without even driving.. The M5 is a drivers car.. I always find the Merc' to be a pig.. Low end torque and out of breath on top..

Has anyone in here even drivin the new E63 with the performance pack..?? It will run a better lap time than current M5's. Merc just also announced they are going with a 5.5TT motor in 2011.

What will AMG come up with next? Looks like MB is fallowing the pack (Audi, BMW etc.) and going down in displacement coupled with forced induction for better fuel economy without sacrificing performance!

I think the new E63 is sick......
