I've always thought these cars looked like upside-down boats, but lovin' the setup!

Thanks for the info. I am starting to shop for one now and am looking for what I can do to one. I am taking my time so I can do as much research as possible. I normally don't do that, I just run out and buy something but this time I won't be doing that.

There is a lot of power to be had from the 55 Kompressor engines...a tune and crankshaft pulley and cooling upgrade will net you a lot of power. Start adding headers and throttle bodies and you're going to need to start re-enforcing the rear end because traction is going to be an issue from all the power.

I've done all Renntech mods on my E55 and it's an entire different car from stock..I'm hoping to be up around 600hp soon.

Thanks for the info. I will look into the their mods so I can get ideas. I really like the car overall. I have been debating over the CLS55 and the latest M5 as a new 4 door fun car. Most of my friends tell me they would go with the CLS. I was shocked by that because a lot of them are BMW owners. I still need to drive both and decide for myself. I like the CLS better on looks and if for some reason I don't like the way it handles I will try out the E55 as well.
