I'm currently shopping around for a ecu+tcu flash. There are many choices out there and I'm considering this one too. Iv'e seen some that recommend changing the inter-cooler pump as well. Do you guys also offer something like that as well? Also, I would be required to send my ecu to you guys for the flash correct? Thanks.

 

Hi,

The pump is a very good idea to consider. Almost all the Mercedes Bosch units that came on the car have failed, or are in the process of failing. With a bad pump the car will be down considerably down on power.

You will need to remove your ECU and TCU to have them sent to us to be tuned.

What upgrades are needed to the trans and rear end to handle this increased power? Are any modifications required to the internals of the engine?

 

The silence is quite loud so I presume nothing is done?

In regards to the motor, we have not found that it needs any alterations to be able to handle the power we are currently making. For the transmission, our package includes a fully modified transmission with upgraded valve body built here in house at Speedriven. For the rear end, no upgrades are needed to handle the power, but we recommend a limited slip diff to help with putting the power to the ground!
