Ok, So I am a week in the new car and loving this thing.....still breaking it in so the right foot has not had a chance to express itself fully yet, but showing amazing restraint just the same...this car is everything I thought it would be and more....the suspension settings alone are a blast to play with and the handling is unbelievable....I actually bought it before I test drove it thanks, in part, to this board and those who were kind enough to comment about their cars.....the threads about QC and problems had me freaked, but I think this car is strong and I should not have any issues (fingers crossed). I cannot wait to click 1K miles and stuff my foot to the floor.....this puppy wants to run....

start excise it a bit after 500 miles. the tranny wants to learn.
i'm surprised how much different u can feel in the suspension setting. it was much more noticable than the SL55 i had. overall a great handling ''sedan.''

oh ya, in sport II mode the longer tranny hold, the tightness....felt as tight as a viper I used to have but with none of the weight....left it on sport and my wife drove it and HATED it....I told her it always drove like that....lol....she will not want to take it out for a while.... hehehe....so you think 500 miles deserves a little more right foot? is there a school of thought on break in? or just follow MBZ....

The CLS55 in Alabaster white with either black or tan interior is my preference, over ANY benz right now. That says alot considering I repair/drive different ones every day.

1. Insert your key and turn to position 1.
2. Press the trip odometer reset button three (3) times.
3. The first screen you will see on the MFD is the battery voltage in the following format - UB: 12.0 V
4. Press the UP arrow button on the steering wheel.
5. You will now see other information such as Software Version, etc. If you turn the key to position 2 you will get a oil reading by QTS and other info will appear.
6. If you want to put the car into DYNO mode which will disable ESP and BAS, leave the key in position 1 and hit the up arrow until you see the screen that says "ESP Dynamometer Test".
7. At this screen use your + or - steering wheel button to turn this mode ON.
8. You will get some malfunctions due to ESP, BAS, etc. being off, but this is not a problem and they will go away once you disable the DYNO mode.
9. You can start you car now to DYNO it without all the electronic wizardry getting in the way.
10. To exit out of DYNO mode, simply turn your car off then back on and it will reset to normal.

now THAT is cool! Thanks..... I am sure www.tirerack.com will get a visit soon enough.....and then a LSD!
I had no idea you could go that deep on the car through the infomation center.... I would have assumed the OBD port would be the way to go, but this is much easier and much cooler...
Thanks Again!

so 1K miles on the car....I have roached an E55, killed a 360 light to light....that was fun....and others unworthy types just rev their engines and I do not engage.....somehow a firebird just is not fun to play with..... 20C4S....please send me a PM cuz I am close to doing a K1 mod and thought you guys should have first dibs.... I am taunting my buddy with a viper so much that it has become sport....we are going to have it out this weekend and I will post the outcome....given he has no traction control and my auto tranny is faster than his chubby hand....I think I might pull him pretty well......if I don't, I am going to have to eat **** big time cuz I am riding him like a retarded pony every day until we race...
thanks for all the help from the board...this car is a blast....
