Very nice. Love the front bumper and the new style wheels. Most of all, love the way that this engine sounds!

They forgot to mention a very big improvement over E55 - it's a 7 speed gearbox. Can't wait. Very Nice .

I saw this car in person at the nyc show on saturday. New hood, grill, taillights, front bumper, rims, 7 speed auto, paddle shift, oh yea and 6.3L V8. I knew one of the mercedes reps there so he let me sit in the SLR. He said at WOT the 63's are as loud as the SLR at WOT! They also had the new S65, CLK63, M63, R63, and new SL55 there as well.

the problem is the SLR is too quiet. way too quiet for a supercar.

While styling is always purely subjective, methinks it's high time for an E class redo.

I was thinking the same thing. The body-style seems old, odd and outdated. Is it the headlamps?

AMG always impresses with their engines.
