3) Carlsson - 3 votes
4) Kleemann - 7 votes
5) Lorinser (body kit + wheels) - 1 vote

Brabus does not manufacture thier own equipment like Kleemann (ie blowers). Kleemann also offer more bang for the buck. Kleemann rules.

Where do you come up with that information? So the V12 Bi-Turbo Brabus CLS Rocket has is really a VW engine with a Brabus logo?

Where is the Kleeman Rocket?

That is the Merc 5.5L V12 powerplant bored out (which is how Brabus increases power on all their vehicles....other than the other light mods like exhaust). The turbos are also Merc's, not Brabus's. They basicly bore out the powerplant for more displacement & do a re-tune. This approach provides more power, but its pricey. Kleemann's manufactures their own LSD's, have a patented supercharging system, mak/fab their own Headers, etc. The Kleemann founders are former AMG employees so they still have a link (informal as it may be) to MB/AMG so they align & engineer their products around the MB line up. Brabus just takes the engine, increases displacement, and does a re-tune. I'd rather spend my money with a tuner that also designs, engineers, & manufactures their own products which also produce more power than Brabus for the same (or less) money.

BTW. Kleemann has more speed records than Brabus will ever have. Here are just a few.... fastest SUV @ 175mph ML55k, a 211mph E55k and a 200mph+ S60K, etc. That Brabus "Rocket" needs a JATO assist . My SLK is faster to 200 kph than that thing so I'm not that impressed if that is the biggest, baddest tuned Merc Brabus can put out. Just my opinion.

See ya,
-Matt
