SL's Highway Rival?
aside from the bugatti veryon and probably the Koenigsegg CCX, which car would the sl65 lose against on a highway, namely straightline?
i had this discussion with my friend yesterday, and we figured that with a V12 bi-turbo engine, there isnt much cars out there with greater accleration than the SL, discuss.

Definitely a bad driver. It is an auto but you have to launch it properly with minimal wheel spin. Last time I rented out the track I had a frienn come in a SL65. He had never been to the track. Managed to run a 11.7 when all was said and done. So yea, 12.4 is slow. I've seen stock E55's run better than that. A modded supra would beat the SL65 on the highway.

This may sound very arrogant but realistically the only cars that can really RUN away from a 65 are the likes of the Ford GT, Carrera GT, Enzo, etc. I've raced Gallardos, Murcies, Z06s, etc and while close races none get away from my 600 (which has arguably about the same power as the 65 w/ the RENNTech package).
Modified is definitely another story.

An SL65 should defeat most cars stock for stock (99% of vehicles). The Enzo, Veyron, and CGT should give it a run.

i doubt anything would give a 65 a run from 60mph and up... definitly not my modded one... i think the only stock car that can give me a run that is availble in canada is the veyron

btw, where did you get your Rennetech stuff installed and sourced?
the only place that I got quoted was from the US

I think you guys are completely forgeting a new Z0-6. They will be close as well. Each car runs a little differently though.
