Nice car, I would take this in Designo Mystic Blue over an SLR anyday, Ive also heard rumours of AMG's performance studio releasing a CLK 63 AMG (DTM) version with around 540hp and Larger fender Flares

Nice! Not as "watered down" as an SLR. This would be a track guys dream car. As close to an actuall race car as one can get. At least from MB. GT3RS would give the CLK DTM a run for its money on track. I believe originally taged at 350k, but its limited production of 100 would definitely increase its value over time. I would'nt be surprised if they wanted 500K. I'd pay it if I had 500K laying around the couch!

They used one as the pace car at the Canadian F1 GP and it sounded damn good. Anyone want to lend me a few bucks for this?

According to one source who claims to have contacted the dealer, asking price is $525K. A bit steep, IMO, especially for a U.S. "show & display" car limited to 2,500 miles/year. Yes...I read it on Evo mag...there was a CLK DTM edition for the test of the new 6.3 V8 used in AMG cars...they created that "special edition" of the CLK DTM and raced it around Paul Ricard Circuit, with journalists.
But I don't know if they'll produce this one again...
