Oh you aint kidding my friend, the ride is def. teeth chattering.
The sound alone is enuff to get over the rough ride, them old solid axles dont give too much.
Thank you again gents.

The G55 is the best truck I can think of, The G is handmade if not mistaken in Austria and has been in production from the late 70's and till now, Sad to hear that production will end by late 2010.
If I had a G55 I would never sell it because its going to be a classic.
The spacers you have added give it a nice aggressive wider stance, Good Job!

Yes it is VERY choppy indeed. The suspension in the G'wagen is old school, live axles, etc. So the ride is def. a firm one.
The ride can be made a little bit more comfortable with changing the shocks and installing shocks from a G500. They arent very cheap though somehwere in the $1200 from what I have heard, maybe HDJimbo can tell us as I would like to know. I am just quoting a price from a member on another board.
The G500 is ALOT more comfortable to drive, but still dont expect a nice plush ride out of the G55. Remember they also call it a "brick on wheels" for a reason. Higher speeds in excess of 80mph will get you some wind noise.
