Maybach or SLR buying experience?

anyone here own one of these cars here? i know i'll never buy either one. but i've been reading about how different when buying a Maybach is compare to a S-class

I'm trying to do some research myself to see how exquisite the purchasing experience is on something on the ultra high end scale. since i'll be soon providing this kind of service on some of my products in the future, just want to see how I can do it the best way. I dont think my experience with Porsche, BMW etc can cut it compare to Maybach or SLR experience, as they are just regular cars.

I'm sure you'll be able to find videos on the Maybach experience... either Top Gear or Fifth gear did a feature on it. You're basically put in a room with a huge screen and u can see any colour combo's and options you want... under different kinds of lighting (ie. if you wanted to know what your car would look like during sunrise in Paris).

Basically, the experience is great. You will be able to go through, choose anything and everything you want the car to have. The vehicle is catered to YOUR needs, and also, pretty much anything they can do to make this process easier on you, or anything YOU need during this process, they will do.

If your buying a mayback or an SLR, and during the process you ask for 4 asian hookers, Guess whats going to happen

the car is so great that mercedes benz is offering a $50,000 incentive on the maybach... yes thats right, an incentive

and theres $60k incentive on the SLR

do yourself a favor, if youre looking to buy a real luxury limo, buy the phantom, if youre looking to buy a real supercar, buy the murcielago

Raja
im not trying to be mean or funny, i mean please don't get me wrong, i hate mercedes benz and anything that comes out of their faculty, BUT in all seriousness, the phantom is a real mans luxury car

ive only been with manhattan motors for a few weeks, and have already seen 4 maybachs traded in, that we can;t even wholesale

maybe we should try to give them away to some third world nations

what do you think Raja ?

and as far as the SLR.... let's not even talk about that

Personally, I'm a tech junkie.. so I'd pick a Maybach 62 over a Phantom... however, a Phantom I wouldn't feel too uncomfortable driving... it'd be really strange in a Maybach.

As for the SLR... I think it's one of the best looking cars... I think it's just a bit confused as to what it wants to be, so sales rn't that great.

the new 57s is a great car and tech wise 100x better than the Phantom. Its also more fun to drive from what i hear. But I would never buy either of them.

MB has great cars, dont be so closed minded. I think the new CL, CLS, S class and GL are amazing, and probably best in their respective classes and the best looking as well.
