The CLK63 DTM is using the 63 engine and is supercharged, but it's still not pushing 700hp. Vadim, do you know if it is US legal?
There are several in US on limited mileage licenses.
New CLK63 Black Series (BS) use 500HP normally aspirated M156 which is new 6.2L V8. See my AMG63 R&D#1 thread on details.

Presidential edition CLS55 was for sale in Florida not long ago. The window sticker was displayed, and the Presidential edition option was only a $5000 option. It listed the same 469 hp 516 lb/ft as all the other ones. Your friend is most certainly full of ****

IMO 
I think MB AMG will stick with the tradition and will send to the market may-be with the 08-09 SL a new engine. Putting the 6.3 engine on the C-Class and make it faster than a heavy SL-CL-S-CLS ..... maybe E as well...
It’s look like when they show up with the C32, small C-Class faster than all the AMG at that time....and then

I am super sure that it will be close rated 600 hp car...as Vadim has mentioned, which will be a 6.3 SC/Turbo or a even better version of the same engine with FDI.
.....and do not forget that Audi just here with the Bi-Turbo V10 rated at 570 hp....this is just HP war again (old M5--> RS6 ---> E55)

No luck finding the information that I received a couple years ago.
A quick search found a member here on the 6 with an '03 E55 Presidential.
He has now been banned though. Anybody know the actual specs on the Kompressor model?
