I'm not trying to threadcrap, but I've always found the Italian designers to run small rather than large. Typical rule of thumb for Euro to US size conversion for men is subtract 10 (i.e. a 52 is equal to a size 42 US men's, or you can read about it here..... http://goeurope.about.com/cs/shoppin...othes_size.htm), but from the Versace and Gucci I've worn, it's more like subtract 12.

I'd be real surprised if a Prada size 52 fits anything more than a size 42 jacket US. It's not just a function of chest size with the Euro designers, but other measurements like size of the armholes and sleeve length (Euro designers design their lines for guys that run skinnier and less muscley/meaty than their American counterparts). If you're not sure what you correspond to with Euro sizing (or better yet, Prada sizing), go try on the jackets at a store then hit up the seller here if it works.......

 

No worries. Gucci is in fact exactly as you wrote. But I prada is a little bit different. I wear a size 42 US suit I wear a size 50 EU Prada jacket. All of my prada jackets are 50's. I purchased this 52 and realized i was swimming in it. That is why I made the suggestion that it definately would fit a 44-46 US. Prada actually runs a bit big.

I only have the 44 jacket left. And its a Gortex material. ON the inside it says the body material is polyester.... Let me know if your interested.
