Classified Moto Cafe Racer
Selling my Classified Moto Café Bike (Classified Moto)which was completed in the spring of 2012 and is in perfect shape having run 750+ trouble free miles since completion. This bike is considered a “Level 2” Classified Moto with starting prices north of $10,000+ and a waiting list of more than a year at this point. As of October 1, CM is no longer accepting build requests which means you can't even get on their list for another 9+ months with delivery taking another 6+ months. So figure 15 months from now at the very earliest for your own build! Get it now!
Bike started as a 1988 Virago 1100 and was broken down and customized from there with the below modifications:
- 1977 Yamaha XS360 Fuel Tank
- 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 Forks, Front Wheel, Brake Assembly
- Classified Moto Fork Swap machined from solid billet to accommodate wheel travel
- Yamaha R1 Control Perches w/ Pazzo Replica Shorty Levers
- Modified and Black Ceramic Coated Virago Exhaust
- Custom Stitched Marine Vinyl Seat
- Acewell All-in-One Gauge Setup
- Frame Powdercoated crinkle black
- Kawasaki Transmission Gear Pegs
- Complete re-wiring
- Brand-new Starter and Starter Clutch (remedying Virago Issues)
- Stock Virago Rear Wheel (Powdercoated crinkle Black)
- TONS of custom Classified Moto Touches including mesh work, tail section, nickel plating, underbody paneling, etc
The list of parts goes on and on, and on. Please PM or email for more details as there are TONS as the whole bike is custom with very little left untouched. I have well over $10,000 into this bike and am looking to sell for $10,000.
Nothing wrong with the bike at all…just really unable to ride it more than a few times a month and really not into motorcycles as I had imagined I would be. My loss…your gain.
Bike is awesome around town and more than fine on the highway. I have seen an indicated 90+ mph pretty easily and while this bike will exceed 100mph, its not geared for much more. Bike was featured by both BikeExif and Iron & Air in the Spring of 2012 (links below).

Thanks guys. This is one that will need to find the exact right buyer for the style (or someone who simply cannot wait the 15+ months on the Classified Moto waiting list) and likes what I had them design for me.
Heading into winter is a hard time to sell, and I really posted this knowing it likely won't go until Spring. If I can unload it now, I will...but keeping it won't be the end of the world, either.

Thought I would bump this. Exclusivity continues to grow as Classified Moto is no longer accepting builds for the waitlist until next June (at which time they will be featured on Cafe Racer TV). I would conservatively estimate it will be 2 years before you would be able to get your hands on another of his creations at this point!

Feel free to send over an offer if you are "close".
I know now isn't the best time to sell and imagine I won't have true interest until March/April when the riding season begins. Happy to keep it until then if necessary.

This video was taken mid-build, but gives a decent perspective on sound. It was taken via IPhone, so not exactly the best mic....
Also, notice it still has the stock air box setup in this video. With the less restrictive air cleaner installed on the bike now, it does now have a more aggressive sound during revving, etc. (idle is unchanged, though).

Someone PMd to ask about riding position. Its easily the most comfortable bike I have ridden (bear in mind, I've never ridden a goldwing ) as you can pretty comfortably rest your elbows on your knees.
This is a pic of the bike during the final stages of assembly with a rider who is 5'11 or so:
