WTB: Sony Ericsson P990i (euro)
Bit of a longshot, but does anybody want to sell me their P990i? PM me!
They're sold out everywhere, and I desperately want one. To avoid toll and customs on my end - euro phones only.
Thanks!
J

Do the users of this phone in the US have cingular? Otherwise, how would one benefit by using the 3G technology on this phone? There are other solutions that the carriers have available...

dzy, here's a small review I wrote in another thread:
Awesome phone. Sound is excellent, real crisp.. Lots of cool features - business card scanner, but it doesn't seem to be working for me... or maybe I need to learn how to use it. Camera takes fantastic photos for a phone and comes with a lens protector.I got a 2gb card for all contacts and calendar items. Should be enough.
Cons: the QWERTY-keyboard has very small buttons. I don't have huge fingers but I am forced to use my nails. And I miss the daily agenda my M600i had on the "home" window. Maybe it's just a setting but it sucks having to enter the calendar, to do list, meetings etc one by one instead of having all the daily stuff in one place.
Edit: Apparently it is a setting, but the phone's main menu only has three spots / shortcuts you can associate apps with. Unlike my M600i I had 5 shortcuts on it, so I have to sacrifice one on the P990, which sucks major bawls because on a daily basis I need tasks, messages, calendar, phone book and e-mails only one button away.
Now I have to go into the menus 5 or 6 buttons away in order to get the one I can't fit on the main window.
