Some of you may already know,

I am looking for a lightly used or new (under retail ) Canon XL2 to use for a student film that is set to start filming in a month or so.

My good friend is producing it (president of the Business Careers in Entertainment Club on campus) and needs the equipment ASAP.

At a reasonable rate, Im sure he would love to borrow/lease it (giving you credit in the credits)

sheynk, your university doesn't have the equipment to loan out to the student? most universities do. if you're looking for canon, there are rental places in most large cities.

Look at the new Canon A1. It's only a few dollar more than an XL2 and is HD with all the same features at the Canon XL2.

 

still looking out for the XL2 if anyone has a tip on that
