Less than 5 months. I bought it, synched it up with my bb, tried it and realized I didn't like it. It's been sitting in my desk practically brand spanking new since then. I only recently discovered it...go figure I need to clean out my desk more often.

I'm not sure what version but you can see the product on Verizon's website within the following link...just select the Plantronics 655 product near the bottom
