I don't mean to bash but in general the detail industry is overall lacking talented, passionate, skilled professionals that really care how their customers cars turn out. But if you are paying $150 for a full exterior detail...well you get what you pay for. If you are looking to get top notch results shoot me a PM or contact Chris at Refined Detailing. We do detailing that is well beyond just cleaning and waxing, talking about on average 10hrs just on paint correction that permanently removes swirls and scratches without leaving nasty buffer trails all over the vehicle like any other detail shop and all body shops (with the exception of JT's collision repair). If you are looking for bang for the buck they are known as one of the better detail shops in the area.
thank you for the honest answer. Truth is my car is leased and is not a garage queen by any means. I have an appointment soon and will let you guys how they are with pics

So Jared, you're recommending JT's for body work? I've been looking for someone to repair, paint, and mount a Aero II wing as well as mount and paint a Aero bumper. Then I'd like the entire car detailed after a the painted areas have time to cure.

locations of these shops would be appreciated. Maybe we should start a thread for all of the recommended shops in the area...body work, wheel refinishing, detailing etc., etc.

I've only seen the results of one DetailDetailsDetails job on my buddies E36 M3 and I wasn't overly impressed. I think what Jared said above is pretty accurate...they are definitely above the quality of a car-wash type place but could never touch a real professional using professional compounds and tools.

I prefer DIYing myself so I do everything I feel that needs to get done to correct the paint.
