PCA Horses and Horse Power
40 Porsches, West Virginia back roads, brunch in the Sky Terrace, winner's circle for the 6th race sponsored by the Porsche club, fast horses and gambling... fun ride home with the roof wide open, good people and ice cream ;-)

IS there a local PCA forum to catch up with? I want to do the Watkins Glen DE in June and some others but I have not seen anyone from here posting they are members or do the DE's around town.
Summit 6/6 & 6/7 on Shenandoah should be a great run too.
Anyone?
EDIT: Now I see why no one here is passing out the info. PCA shows the Watkins Glen DE as the Niagra division that weekend 6/26 and Potomac region at VIR that weekend. Well, Potomac's own schedule says Watkins DE 6/26 w/e and says nothing about VIR.

however most of them use the larger forum at Dorki: http://www.dorkiphus.net/
Yes... its a very large (founding chapter of the PCA) chapter and spans MD, DC and VA... in fact they have two monthly breakfast meetings, one in MD and one in VA. I'd say the biggest event they have is the International Gold Cup in Fall... as the event's main sponsor (along with Porsche) you'll roll in with all the other Porsches under police escort to paddock parking for the Porsche car show area and receive VIP passes to members hill and the fully catered and furnished Porsche tent in the center of members hill. Hands down, one could not do Gold cup better...
They are constantly hitting summit point and also hold auto crosses all summer long. You missed their recent DE at Summit 2 weeks ago... but they'll do another.

I have not officially joined PCA as I have only seen more of the, uh, 'older' crowd do their events. Not as spirited as The Bull Runs.

I see visiting members attend events all the time... not certain specifically with autocross but I have to think that the same open and welcoming attitude goes for that too...
