The revival for 2010
JUST BRINGING THIS THREAD BACK TO LIFE!!!!
I'm committed to setting up these GTG's for those interested (whether we bring our fun rides or go in DD's). I'd like to learn more and build my "collection". Who knows where to go and when can we do this???

I'm taking the Misses to pick up an XD-9 for V-Day tomorrow at the gun show, and then will be sending lead downrange at Silver Eagle (which is only a few minutes away) afterward for several hours. Bringing the full arsenal out (Rifle, shotty, Pistols, etc).
The more the merrier..

Looks like today is a wash for me being Valentine's Day, but consider me a part of the crew now and wanting to be a part of festivities moving forward. So when will we do this moving forward? Once a month meet then grab lunch?
How about we get started in the next few weeks? I propose once a month on Saturdays starting with Saturday, March 6th. What time would be best? Do they rent guns and we just buy ammo for use? Man, I'm stoked!!!

It was definitely a tough call between the XD-9 and the Glock 26 as the Glock's reputation is unmatched! However, the XD-9 was a no brainer for her since I already own an XD-45, of which she is used to the feel & operation. Got it for $420 out the door - with the standard 13 round & 16 round high capactiy mag - a pretty decent deal.
I also found a few halfway decent deals on Ammo at the show: 1,000 rounds of .223 for $220, and 250 rounds of .45 ACP for under 100 bucks. Didn't stay too long, but I'm sure there were some decent deals to be had during the last few hours of the show!
@ Berk - It was a good time, attached are a few photos of what you missed and the new baby brother that was added to the collection! >=P

Dam brotha - I thought I had a decent Zombie Mitigation Kit, but dayum!!
I planned on rendezvousing with a few buddies at the Safeway in Lake Ridge VA and holding down the Frozen Food section/Pastry aisles during the impending Zombie invasion, but If I get overrun, I now know I'll be fighting my way up north to Baltimore for reinforcement!
