2011 Turbo S Cab or 2007 430 Spyder
My wife and I are in the market for a convertible. Rockville will give me an allocation for a Turbo S Cab. Was thinking Speed Yellow with black spider wheels.
OR
F430 Sypder in Red, but 2007
Turbo S pros - new, fast, and reliable
Turbo S cons - looks like a regular turbo with the exception of S badge, exhaust sounds bland even with aftermarket exhaust
F430 pros - looks sexy, fast enough, sounds awesome
F430 pros - "older" technology in terms of audio system, BT, Nav, etc, older car so not sure when warranty would run out
Thoughts?

A 911 Turbo S cab would be nice to drive but I think the Ferrari would be much more enjoyable especially with the top down.
It has the one of the best sound systems located but it is located in the engine bay.
The only down side would having to repair something on it without a warranty. A Ferrari can be very pricy to fix.
That said, I would still go for the F430.

Don't have the garage space. Looked into getting a lift into my garage like you did, but we'll be moving soon so was not worth the hassle.
The Panamera will really be hers once we decide on the car. The car is really more my idea but she agreed if we get a convertible.

Considering the worst case when you need to throw in thousands of dollars into F430 and if that doesn't bother you much, F430 gets my vote. Sounds like you need a weekender. I've only heard/read stories about how much it costs to maintain couple year old Ferrari's.
I'd not consider any convertibles except Ferrari for the looks. gl.

Sorry Berk I think I'm gonna go with 430 Spyder. After giving it lots of thoughts, I came to the conclusion that the Turbo S Cab really gives me nothing over the 997T I had with the exception of no top. The Turbo S Cab would require lots of mods to make it look more "sexy" while the 430 is sexy out of the box.
So, 430 hunting here I come.

430 all the way, just because you dont see them around, especially if its going to be your weekend car. If yo are buying a ferrari to begin with you have to money to repair it anyway so go for it. Remember the attention your going to get as well, for example going to starbucks for coffee wont be the same anymore, you are going to have people walking around your car and taking pictures, so you have to ask yourself do you want that attention, if so go for it. DONT FORGET about the POLICE......
