Weekend Activities
All,
So here's what going down this weekend for anyone wanting to attend.
Saturday:
1. Cars and coffee in Great Falls at Katie's Coffee. Start time is around 0700 but I showed up at 0800 and there were plenty of cars to stare at! Lot's of Italian classics with an eclectic mix of German, French and American mixed in. Link to map below:

2. PCA Potomac cars and coffee in Tyson's Corner 0900 - 1100
All Porsches obviously but you can see some awesome cars and some really well restored classics and plenty of contemporary models. Good bagels too! Link is here:

Sunday:
1. Deutsche Marque Concours d' Elegance Sponsored by Porsche of Arlington - May 2nd All day long
Linky: This year Porsche of Arlington will sponsor the PCA Potomac portion of the event. In addition to the judged "concours" class we also have a "wash/shine" class. The show features some of the finest Porsches, Mercedes Benzes and BMWs in our area. So plan to be at Nottaway Park, Vienna, VA, on Sunday, May 2nd. Even if you just "spectate" you can still attend our traditional "wine/beer/soda & cheese" reception at about 3:00 in the adjacent "Hunter House" gardens where terrific trophies are presented. Porsche of Arlington will have some cars on display and also provide some nice door prizes.

Traivs, I may attend for a bit on Sunday but on Saturday I will be heading to Summit Point with Steve (you meet him the day you and I drove to Tyson's Corner) for a Vintage Car event. I left you a voicemail and sent a reply to your email.
I really wanted to come to the PCA meet but I already planned this with Steve.

I went to both. Vienna's Deutsch Concours was nice, lots of great machinery. Kudo's to Porsche of Arlington for giving the 928 crew the space behind their tent.
MD meet was sort of lame. Got there ~1:30 and the cops had dorked up the traffic patterns and didn't want to let anyone IN, but there were tons of people leaving, so when we set up 70% of the cars were gone and the ricers that were left got on my nerves. I really wanted to see more complete motor fails for the losers just revving the snot out of their engines. Poor machinery wasn't getting any respect, it might as well roll over and die. At least I got to hang out with a bunch of friends anyway!
