moral of the story....just when your the hottest car at the show, someone else comes in with something better...sometimes. The guy with the DBS got the crowd then was toppled by the 458 Italia, who had the glory for bit until the Enzo pulled up! I would love to see how this sorta thing plays out at Pebble Beach lol!
Yeah I suppose you can top a Ferrari Enzo.. but not that day!

Katie's, 08/27/11

Fraggle - sorry you didn't make it. We did not have any rain at all at Katie's, and I stayed until about 9:20AM.

A small crowd today - mostly, just filled up the front lot - a lot like it was early last year. The smaller turnout still included some nice surprises.

...and our friend Scott brought his new GTO...

It's actually earlier than a 993. I believe it's a 1978 911. It's one of my favorite cars that comes out to Cars & Coffee. If you ever have the opportunity to talk to the owner, have him tell you about the car. It's insane how much is done to that car.

You caught me - I know next to nothing about 911 models.
Actually, my knowledge of most German cars in general is lower than average.

That's helio's car. It is insane. The shell may be a '76 or a '78 but nothing else is.

Missed some neat cars, but we got Sid's springs in!

Sunir, I'll have some pics soon.. springs are still settling in but you can tell that car is lowered. I switched back to black rims just yesterday and didn't get chance to take any pics. I have ton of install pics which I'll be posting in another thread.
here is one pic after the install
