Berk, you moved to Brambleton? Just in time when I'm moving out...argggg.

You'll like the area, especially to raise a family. The food around here pretty much sucks.

I'll be at the C&C meets now that I'm moving like 1/2 from that location.

BTW, the Turbo S is now officially "BORING". The PDK, while pretty cool, is really boring and basically like driving an automatic. Maybe the GT2RS (whenever that arrives) will make things a bit more interesting.

 

....DAMMIT Alex......You guys won't be far away at least. In Great Falls right???? I'll come out your way anyway. Will you still be by the Herndon Starbuck's during the weekdays. I now work like a 1/2 mile from there, so we can always catch up there too.

As for the Turbo S Cab PDK, I can totally understand, but stand strong....that GT2RS is right around the corner. I saw Chris yesterday (SEAN996) at the Centreville Meet and he said when you took him for a ride in that thing it was blazing fast.....the PDK was sick, but we discussed how we weren't sure how much more power it could take if one was to mod it.......Regardless, it'll be good to see you out more frequently.....Have you heard from Van????? Did he move to Orlando? I know he kept the place in Annandale.....Let's get the old crew back together again!

 

Berk, forgot to tell you...stock up on bug and tar remover. For some reason Ashburn has a TON of bugs and all our cars have bug splattered all over our cars. The local car wash Suds is pretty good (only the non P-Cars go through that for me - the rest I have someone come and hand wash).

 

I was going to ask you that too......SUDS, where is that located? I saw one called Ashburn Car Wash.

Who comes and handwash's the other cars? Can you ping me their contact info? Thanks Alex.

Ha ..... small world. I've gotten in the habit of stopping past the Herndon Starbucks for a cup of java for my homeward commute. Assuming that you are talking about the Starbucks by Fuddruckers vice the Worldgate Starbucks.

 

Ha. No not that one but the one at the clock tower. Other side of worldgate across the toll road. The shoppers food warehouse one where its a drive through Starbucks. Awwwwww yeah.

 

ahhh .... i forgot about that one. i rarely ever get to that side of the toll road. drive thru, huh, i'll have to check it out.

 

The SUDS car wash is near the Potbelly's on Waxpool. I don't know the name of the intersecting road...there are so many Ashburn Village Pkway, Ashburn Village Rd, Ashbun Rd, I get confused.

As for hand wash...I'm looking for a new one, the one I used charged me $800 for my Pana TT and my Turbo S Cab. In all fairness, he did "wax" the car but the Turbo S was like a week old, didn't get the logic on that one.

 

I rarely got there now Berk. I use to when I had to drop off my son at school down the road and my office was on the way past the starbux. Office has been in Chantilly for over a year so I rarely go in the opposite direction to get coffee after dropping off my son. Plus I never drive the Turbo S to work for various reasons.

 

Alex - you know who you should have do your car. Allen from the forum. He was my neighbor back in Bristow (still technically is b/c I still own the property). I'm actually giving him the XC90 and the Porsche in the next two weeks. He does an AMAZING job. He's done several forum member cars as well. His handle is "ALMO" and if you look him up on some of his original threads, you'll see the work he has done. He's done my car and several other members' porsche's, mercedes, aston, etc........i'll check out the SUDS car wash too.........
