Not sure, but I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone with a child interested in karting/racing. It was very well organized and well done.

Confirmed.....Francois' had that place for at least 8 years to my knowledge. Haven't been in a few years, but definitely a good time every time. Planning on taking my son as he gets a little older to get him interested in karting/racing.

Fair Lakes, 03/13/11

How's this for a turnout?
Not just quantity, though there were plenty of cars there. Lots of quality and variety...
Phil brought his 458 Italia.
A very clean Superformance Cobra Daytona Coupe.
A 50's-era Pontiac.
Ducati.
My Lotus, surrounded by a Porsche 1600, Cobra, and Bob S's F550M.

Fair Lakes, 03/13/11 - Part 2

A GT3 RS, with Bob W's (RSR Guy) yellow RSR behind it.
Black Porsche, with yellow pinstriped wheels.
Matt just bought the Lotus Sport Elise, his son riding shotgun.
Warren's white Porsche Cabrio, with a 308.
Steve M. drove his AMG - the F1 pace car model.

Come on out, any good-weather Sunday. People start showing up around 8:30AM, and most leave between 10 and 10:30AM.

12599 Fair Lakes Circle, in the parking lot between Kohl's department store and Starbucks.

Fair Lakes, 03/13/11 - Part 3

It would be wrong to forget the fact that Chris (CHRCOWAN) and the Viper guys are some of the veterans, and always at these events in numbers...

Chris' maroon Viper coupe is a frequent (welcome) sight at the event.
...and he brings friends...
...lots of friends... (I look forward to being able to get as many Lotus owners to participate as the Viper guys do, on a regular basis...)
Bob (RSR Guy) is an organizer of the Fair Lakes event. He shows up practically every week, either with one of his Subarus, or in his wild Lister Jag with the Corvette V8, or (like this week) in his RSR.
There is always a big number of Porsches, of all eras and models.
