Hey Berk, I'm just a pup. One day I'll get off the porch and run with the big dogs.

I might join you guys for this event. Cruising and wine make a good combination as long as the wine is in moderation. I'd be making the long haul from the Baltimore area if anyone is interested in linking up to drive down.

Sorry for the late response. working like mad. It's more about the cruise and the roads for me, but I will be on a two glass maximum. The rest goes home by bottle. Hope you can make it out, should make for a great day, pray to the weather gods

Just an update as the car list keeps rolling in. Seems like we have a little of everything making it out on the 19th so far. G37's, Jags, M's, GTR, various Porsches and Corvettes, Lotus, Vipers and more luxury marks.
Only thing missing are the Italians, but maybe we will see a few of them as well on the 19th.

Should make for a great cruise rumbling through the foothills of Virginia with such a stunning crowd of vehicles. If anyone has any questions or suggestions please shoot me a email wegant@arlingtonva.us

From Arlington on 66W to Rt 17 is a long way on the freeway.

Are there any stops to pick up Westerners in between? Fairlakes or Manassas possibly?

I'm in Bristow and would be game for a manassas or Bristow starting spot. There's a starbux in the harris tweeter on vint hill and 28 and a ton of parking. Short rocket from there up 234 to 66...

I cant change the offical start point at this point due to the fact that we are being escorted out by Arlington County Police that will be shutting down the intersections to get us to RT66. I was also purposly trying to stay off of RT28 or RT29 due to traffic and traffic signals. I could make a pit stop if needed at NOVA community college lot just off of RT28. NOVA Mannasas lot is located just next to the ******* Barrel down the service road.

Fairlakes where Sunday C&C is held is not a bad idea for those who just can't make it to Arlington for the start. If that works I rather stop in Fair Lakes than Manassas, just to hard to get that many vehicles back out on the road with all the traffic.

I did the test run this past Saturday in my Audi, and from Arlington at 10am it took me about 15-20min to reach RT29/Gainsville so Fairlakes would not kill our time. The only reason I am concerned about time is the Narmada expects us around 12pm and also the traffic tends to increase the closer it gets to noon on nice days.

Let me know as soon as possible-Thanks

Hey guys, I was just checking the weather today for this Saturday and unfortunately it looks like its going to rain per weather page. Currently it shows 40% chance which could change, hoping for it to be sunny, keeping my fingers crossed.
