Nice Pic of my car & ProForm review

I recently got PPF installed on my car. I went to Pro Form and Rob did an excellent job of installing the PPF product and the car is now nicely protected from rock chips and the sort. I opted for the front kit along with mirrors, and all wheel arch cover protection. The job was about 3.5 hrs and went very smoothly.

I came to find out actually that Rob and Skip had done the 3M product way back in '02 for me on my M3 LTW and that we have a bunch of friends in common from around that same period of time who were in the BMW community and active on the boards back then...what a small world !

Anyhow I was pleased with the work done and felt like the job was handled in a proffesional manner through and through. I was in and out in the time I was told, I did not have to wait to get my car in when I was told to bring it over, Rob was ready to go as soon as I arrived and did the job like a true expert that has been doing this for many years as he told me he had.

This post is in no way, shape, or form a comparison between shops, I have seen work from other places and the work looked very nice also. This post is simply my experience with one place. I'd like to specifically make that point, I am not comparing the work or products, I am just giving feedback based on what I encountered.

93 Vette is infamous around these parts
I have been a member of 6speedonline for a couple of years now and I have read a lot of posts but I have never actually posted myself.

I had Rob install film on my brand new 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 about a month ago and he did an awesome job. This is the second vehicle that I have taken to him, the first being my 2008 Volvo XC90. I had another company do my Mercedes and there is just no comparison between the installation on my Mercedes and the installations on my Challenger and Volvo. The seams meet up, the kit matches the contours and body lines of the vehicles and the installation job itself is flawless unlike the installation on my Mercedes. Rob is also just great to deal with and makes the entire process easy. It helps that I’m located in Ellicott City just a few minutes from Rob.

I have included a picture of my Challenger at Rob's shop. It was taken with my phone so it’s not the greatest.

challenger is lookin tough for sure!

we went with a Matte finish on the front truck of my GT2 ...came out really well. We are thinking of some other areas to apply matte film as well. We used clear film on the other areas, fenders, backs of wheel arches etc...

Your GT2 looks terrific. I almost bought a 911 but with 3 kids I needed something with a little more room. I also have a Corvette that I'm not able to drive as much as I'd like because of the kids. Someday I'm going to get a Porsche though.

You’re right about the repair costs. That’s another reason why I decided to delay my Porsche purchase for a little bit. Talk with you later.
