The Elegance at Hershey June 11-12
There is an incredible concours event coming up this weekend in Hershey. Its called the Elegance at Hershey and is the brainchild/inspiration of Jack Rich, one of the most significant collectors in the US. He has many Pebble Beach winning cars.
And there will be many Pebble Beach cars at this event. Check out the website http://theeleganceathershey.com/
On Saturday the 11th, the VCCC is hosting the Grand Ascent. The Grand Ascent is a vintage hill climb exhibition in the European tradition, where drivers will pilot some of the finest vintage race cars up the historic back road to The Hotel Hershey. Modeled on similar events such as England’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and paying homage to long standing events such as Mount Equinox, The Grand Ascent will relive the excitement of race cars storming up hill to test the mettle of the driver and the machine.

We are talking some heavy duty, high end, Pebble Beach quality car, just up the road.
This is a unique opportunity to see some very rare iron. I would encourage anyone within range to consider attending. If you've ever thought about going to Pebble Beach but the costs/time/travel too difficult, try this one out for size. It ain't no 18th fairway on the ocean but its on this side of the country
Hope to see some of you there.
