The businesses around Katie's usually start to scare everyone off at 9am. The event starts at noon so we would need a few hours worth of time killings in between. Visit to Ferrari of Washington perhaps? Anyone have any contacts there?

That shopping center is a great spot too, lots in walking distance - big sports bar, Bonefish Grill, ice cream, gas station, Wendy's, and even a spa in case you suddenly need a pedicure.

If people are driving down from Maryland or Pennsylvania or wherever to this car show and plan to attend the Great Falls C&C at Katie's... there is a group of us carpooling down from the location of the Maplelawn C&C. Meeting at 5:30am at Maplelawn C&C. Feel free to meet at Maplelawn C&C first and drive down with us.

I reconfirmed with Ken (Ryan's dad) and Angelique Sparrow (organizer) that there will be a good group coming. I hope they raise some good money.

 

So the plan for MD and points north folks is to meet at Maple Lawn (as gsrjc pointed out) and then caravan to Katies, from there anyone that wants to go to Ryan's Car Show Wess (unreasonable is his handle on here) and I and whomever else probably going to caravan from Katies to Ferrari of Washinton and then to the Ryan show.

I think that's the plan... so far...

It is a tragic story and I'm in. I also like the idea of cruising over from Katie's and even the Ferrari visit.

 

I was planning on Katies and the Ryan Diviney show so I'm game for anything. A FOW visit sounds fun. I'll be following the herd I suppose

 

Hey Matt remind me to bring your talkie. I guess FoW is used to packs of exotics rolling up. We shall see Last I was there they had two Scuderias. Weather looks ok, slight chance of some rain in the afternoon, let's hope for the best. See everyone at Katie's!

50 cars showed up. A good time, and a good cause. Not surprising that lots of Porsches showed up, since the local Porsche club chapter organized it. I was surprised by the amount of Alfas that were there.
Evan came down all the way from Harrisburg, PA in his Exige.
