Bull Run #6 Reschedule; Sun. 10/16 Fun Run to Summit Point for KARTING
Well didn't the weather suck BIG TIME for our anticipated fun run to Summit Point. I can't let this route go to waste. For those of you that know what this means, it's an "A" ROUTE and there's not one traffic light on the entire route. So, let's try this again but this time for an afternoon of Karting. Directions will be handed out at the meeting place. This should be a blast

Here are the details:
·MEET: Sunday, 10/16 from 8:30 to 10:00amam
·DEPART: 10:15am PROMPT
·PLACE: Giant Foods in the Urbana Shopping Center, directions below. There’s a Starbucks in the Giant and a Subway. On the way in from I-270 there’s a 7-Eleven & Exxon so please make sure you have gas.
·DESTINATION: Summit Point Raceway for an afternoon of Karting.
·MEETING DIRECTIONS:
o From Baltimore Area & North: I-70 West to I-270 South. Take I-270 South to Exit 26 (RT-80 Urbana) and at the end of ramp go RIGHT under I-270 through the traffic light to the circle. Go 3/4 of the way around the circle and exit circle on Sugarloaf Pkwy to the traffic light. Go straight at the traffic light to the next circle. Go 3/4 of the way around the circle and exit circle on RT-355. Take 1st RIGHT into the shopping center.
o From DC/Virginia: Take I-270 North to Exit 26 (RT-80 Urbana). Turn LEFT at the traffic light at the end of the ramp. Go to the traffic circle and go 3/4 of the way around the circle and exit circle on Surgarloaf Pkwy to the traffic light. Go straight at the traffic light to the next circle. Go 3/4 of the way around the circle and exit circle on RT-355. Take 1st RIGHT into the shopping center.

I had a nice weekend in Bethesda/DC, given the rain, but I sure missed getting out and driving.
Count me in for the 16th.

Did you ask about a 2-seater?
This was a blast last Fall. We all did a test session. Then split into two qualifying sessions. Top seats got to race the last session. 25 guys got beat out (by the clock) by a 20 year old girl!! A memorable day to say the least.

^^ this sounds like a great run Bull...no traffic lights...that's impressive
Scott...in these Karts weight and size matter a lot, if the girl was lighter and quite skillfull she would easily have beaten many larger guys... a lot of F1 drivers get beaten by little kids who are small. light, and skillfull at their local Karting tracks, Shumi mentioned something about this in an interview once regarding a track he goes to in his hometown of Kerpin in Germany...

If this is the case, then Bull = Last Place. Hell, the shadow of my *** weighs 35 lbs. Hmmmm, maybe they have a Kartman sized Kart with double the HP
