Weather is an occasional issue with any outdoor event so its good to get some practice. The cars will be set and then we can break for Chick-fil-A, Panera and Caribou if showers arrive. They'll love the business boost. Hopefully, we'll only deal with clouds but I'm sure that none of us melt in drizzle.

As of midnight, here are the Facebook stats...
173 "Going"
71 "Maybe"
238 "Invited"

Of course there are many others interested outside of the realm of Facebook. For the Facebook users, join the long-term Group Page. The latest news will always be posted there.

We're less than 36 hours away from the inaugural event. I hope to see you there!

My car came standard with windshield wipers. Gotta love BMW, they really thought of everything!

I didn't buy this Porsche with 4-wheel drive and a GT3 Cup Wing for nothing. Rain will not stop my 996. Yes, Sunir. I will be sporting the Porsche crest proudly on Saturday!

This is how the Mid-Atlantic rolls (Rob driving his convertible in the rain on the Midnight Run to Times Square in 2009)

I disagree Sunir...I think ML is just coming into its own and once the nice weather sets in we will see some large turnouts. It really took off on its own ( clearly I havent done anything to promote it since the fall ).

These arent my pictures, but were posted on another site, from 2 weeks ago : http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...8683545&type=1

Look forward to getting back out soon to ML and HV !

Your car is a narrow body...Carrera 4S was a widebody car same as the turbo, both of which are the awd setups...yours is a rwd Carrera or Carrara S, on the same narrow body platform as the GT3 and cup. Yes the rear wing will help spades in the rain, set it up on high rake

Sunir,

Let me clear this up for you. In 1999 Porsche only make one 4-wheel drive 911 with reinforced body stiffness, sports package including with 18 wheels. That car is what I custom built and bought directly from Porsche-Germany in 1999.
