BEST AC shop in NoVa?
Need some brazing done on my evaporator, part is NLA so I need to repair the one I got. It's leaking at the point where the fittings for the expansion valve fit into the unit.

Try Ivan at IMA Motorsports in Chantilly. He can fix anything and is a metallurgist - fabricator mad scientist.
Alternatively I'd say Charlie at Intersport in Tyson's.
My experience with AC things is deal with people that know AC in your make of car b/c they've prob. seen same prob.s before. I hear you on needing to braze certain kinds of metals but I'm fairly both those guys can do it and will have assortment of Porsche-specific fittings etc. Almost all the compressors are made by Denso Nippon (some of the only Jap spunk you'll find on hi-end German cars (but they are good, and EXPENSIVE for older model cars)).... but the attached plumbing a good fabricator-type person with general auto systems skills should be able to fix or fix a better-than-new way around it.
