Well Done

Thanks to those who made the rental. It seemed that everyone had a really good time.
Looks like I burned my clutch pack and had one wheel power. That said, I am hoping for better numbers than I got yesterday. This is what I did:
60ft:1.59, 1/4:10.76@ 130.7 mph.
60ft:1.68, 1/4:10.79@ 131.4 mph.

I am going to try to get there with my fixed differential.

Thanks, me too!
I'm not able to send PMs due to low post count, so to respond to someone who asked my car has basic bolt-ons to increase air intake and remove the cats and has "lightly modified" turbos running an E85 tune. Stock motor, trasmission, and catback exhaust.

I wasn't watching closely, but I'm pretty sure there were some dedicated drag cars that ran in the 7s and 8s. Not sure if they drove in those cars 4 hours up to MD and then back home after the day was over, though
The weather was very nice. I was actually hoping the weather would be a bit colder so that we'd see a negative DA throughout the day, but I'm not complaining. Track prep was great as Ive been told is always the case at these MIR rentals.

^^^ YEah MIR is the east coast king of prep, along with Englishtown and Atco up north.
Nice pull on your 9 sec run...what kinda power are you making with that GTR? Those cars are quick when modded, I drove a few on the race circuit in the past, At VIR and some other tracks...they were my student's cars...some modded and some closer to stock...good cars on a road course and for sure in a straight line they pull quite nicely, one thing that I did notice is that you can really feel their size and weight on the racing circuit.

About 700 wheel. And, yes, they are heavy.
