Is "water tank barrier" the new term for driving too fast around a turn in a high horsepower car and losing control?

All I'm saying is...pics or it didn't happen.

as good of news that could come out of the situation i guess--i was thinking to myself.... why would he be hanging out at the scene if in fact his son had been injured and taken to a hospital....
THANK GOD !

Greg thanks for sending this! I was so saddened by it. Sheet metal or aluminum can be replaced

Regards,

Not sure I understand your sentiment Chris. I'm thinking all the photographic evidence needed is the crumpled car and a driver that walked away.

Great news that the driver is OK! Metal and plastic can always be replaced.

I mis-read what you said the first time. I thought he was trying to blame it on something in the road, like road debris or something. But he admitted to losing control because of taking the turn too quickly.

What a f-ing stupid and ignorant thing to say.
Especially from someone seemingly so enamored by the rolling safety hazards of cars with wheels and tires that purposefully don’t come anywhere close to fitting properly and 30 degrees of camber crammed into the suspension god knows how…. Stick to commenting on not if but when one of those cars has a massive mechanical failure that results in an accident.
Somebody has an accident that totals their $300k car and that could have easily killed them and all you have to say is something baselessly accusatory about their driving skills? That isn’t a misunderstanding of what somebody else wrote, that is just a stupid and juvenile comment.

On topic of 495 - some of those cement wall thingys near the far left lane that stick out sometimes seem dangerously close to the lane. I saw a few that were just barely on the line, I could easily see someone accidentally drifting to the left a tad and striking one.

I wonder if Ferrari will send someone to look at this car and inspect it. I agree the cabin looks really good for landing upside down on a jersey wall.

I would not be surprised if it is shipped to Maranello even

^^ I was also really surprised that the lower chassis / sub-frame of that S class the big tree fell on in Great Falls this summer seemed in the photos to be holding the tree up off the ground.... after it fell on it with speed, momentum and everything else. Amazing. I forget how much the articles said it weighed but it was many many many tons.

I made a mistake and said something stupid, and I'm sorry. Not sure what else you want me to say.

And going off topic to respond to your other jabs, I hate the extreme hellaflush and stanced cars so I'm not sure where you got your information from but it's incorrrect.

Mr. 458 is alive and nobody got hurt. its just another wrecked car, even if a really nice new wrecked car. Hopefully it isnt a bad situation for him as far as recovery / insurance etc.

I'm sorry too. Its all good.
