2013 Fair Lakes, VA C & C (Kohl's) Thread
For reference purposes, here is the link to the 2012 Fair Lakes Cars & Coffee thread -
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-lakes-va.html
It's a new year, and we started off with a very good one. Clear skies and brisk temperatures didn't keep many away, as you will see.
There was already one newcomer on the lot when I got there at 8:00AM.
A very good variety of vehicles represented. Bob W, 'founder' of this C & C, made an appearance with his Subaru STI.
Who can guess what the white vehicle is in the 5th picture?

Rossion
The Rossion is mine. It is not Charley's old one. He and I spoke when he was selling it, but I ended up with one direct from Rossion.
Ed, we actually traded a few PMs over on the nobleforum a while back. I was asking you how it was getting your Noble through the VA inspection and emissions. Obviously I made it through, but it was a lengthy process since my Rossion had never been titled before.
I don't get out often to the C&C meets, but next time I'll be out, I'll definitely let you know!
Thanks
Stan

Hi Stan and welcome to the Rossion/Noble club! It is great to see someone else with one of these cars actually driving them!
Please do send me a PM or an email the next time you decide to go out or if you just want to meet up sometime before the weather gets lousy.. I am going to try and make it tomorrow morning.
Look forward to some nice photos!

Fair Lakes, 01/13/13
Actual weather, as well as the weather that forecasts predict, have an effect on Cars & Coffee events. We're early in January, so the predicted 70F day meant many of us were very excited about today. Well, the reality today was quite different. it was foggy today, like it was yesterday morning. When I got to Fair Lakes a bit before 8:00AM today, the temperature was 47F. That does not sound bad for January, but the fog and overcast made for an uncomfortably chilly morning. Still, the hope of a nice Sunday brought a lot of people out, even though the fog meant the attendees took a while to arrive, and some left early.
Mark Franke was there with his beautiful Esprit, and JayJ showed up later with his Elise Supercharged. Our friend Bob S. showed up with his new purchase, a Jaguar XKR. A large turnout of Mopar folks (lots of Challengers, and a couple of Vipers). Regulars in Porsches and BMWs. Ed C in his Noble. Chris C in his GTR. Glen drove his Maserati. Sean had his Vette.
I always say that it takes actual rain or snow to stop these
events, and today proved that.

Nice seeing everyone today and meeting some of you for the first time. I don't know what happened with the weather but still was a good turnout considering how the weather was. A few us were there until almost 1pm. Ducky the Lime Rock was awesome.
