Wow, out for a drive yesterday in my C4S and saw a silver 996 (or 997?) twin turbo around Stillwater! So we are slowly coming out of hibernation.
By the way, my new Valentine 1 worked great. County sheriffs out on Cty 15 . . .

I don't know if you guys have decided on a location, but Lake St in Wayzata would be ideal IMO.
-There's a Caribou coffee and Ben & Jerry's right there
-quaint, low-traffic area
-the parking lot on the south side of the street is really nice with benches and walkways nearby
-on-street parking also
-lots of really nice cars in the area on Sunday mornings already = a bigger chance of random nice cars showing up
-its on the lake and incredibly scenic
-Wayzata is a perfect backdrop for high-end car culture, and already has some events. (JJ Hills day has a car show, and there may be more)
Only downsides I see
-there may be a lot of non-show related traffic in the lots because of boaters, etc, although if it is early it wouldn't be as big an issue
-city officials may not like the idea, it would definitely have to be prearranged
-if the showing gets too large we would run out of capacity
-western suburb location means a long haul for some people

Looking forward to seeing that M3! See you there.
Stay tuned to a post in this section with full details on the even this week.

Jon,
We are planning on doing it the 1st Sat of the month, there will be plenty more.

Good to see you found a suitable location - Wayzata is great but it does have its downsides as Tyler mentioned as well.
I may not make it there with the M3 so early in the season but I am definitely looking forward to the event even if I have to show up in a Pontiac

I was sorry I missed the meeting on Saturday. I just found out about it today and saw the video. Will make it next month. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate (that is, it's stopped snowing and is warmer than 40.) Also, I still haven't taken out the SLK32 from storage yet.
