I met so many great people and saw so many incredible cars that I had no idea existed in MN. I was even lucky enough to meet this incredibly beautiful women driving a Audi who also rides an Agusta. Do you know how cool that is? A beautiful woman who rides her own sport bike? LOL, don't worry, I acted like a idiot trying to talk to her. I could not think of a cool thing to say.

OK, so thats more info then you need.

Great event and next month I will try to get my friend Jeff to come and bring his yellow Ford GT that he refuses to drive.

Did anyone see that blue 70 Cuda that drove through the parking lot at the beginning of the meet? It was "Uber". LOL.

Yeah, I saw that R34 Skyline roar by a couple of times. too bad he didn't stop. Probably would've gotten the most attention of any car there.

BTW, Paul, nice meeting you man!

I'll have pics in a little bit. I took 500+ pics when I was there so I've got some sorting and editing to do first.

 

Thanks again to all of you that came out. Last month was a great turnout but today was amazing. Let's keep these going, they are going to have to build a 2 level parking ramp for us.

Will there be a video of today's event like last month? I showed up late, and would love to hear the exhaust notes of some of the cars.

 

Did anyone see the Chrysler 300C SRT8 that did the big burnout at the intersection of Shady Oak and 62? I saw him drive by and stop at the light, and then I heard him just stomp on it like he was taking off and when I looked over, he was just lighting his tires up like there was no tomorrow! I was pretty surprised that the cops that drove by didn't stop by and give us any trouble.

Also, at the Caribou across the street, there was a new Pontiac G8 GT! I didn't realize these were out yet and I was kinda surprised the owner didn't bring it over to the meet (even though he was just across the street).

 

I went to another show after the C&C and found out I know who was driving that R34. It's a customer car and I'm not sure if he'll still have it next month, if he does, I'll see if I can get him to stop and park next time.

And it was nice to finally meet those you I did, it's good to put faces with screen names.

Meets like today give me the extra urge to finish my car.
