I went to the 28th Annual Wheels & Wings show in Osceola, WI yesterday and I figured I'd check in and see if anybody from here made it.

The show had a great turnout this year! Nearly 600 cars, I'm sure. A very eclectic mix of cars showed up this year (as is the case nearly every year...)

The Merkur Club!


The dark red XR4Ti has undergone some serious home-engineered modifications including the removal of the stock turbo'ed 4-banger and having a turbo'ed 327CI V8 shoehorned in. Now, mate this to a T56 6-speed tranny and a custom and well engineered AWD system using the transfer case from a GMC Syclone, and you have one hell of a street monster! This one of a kind example put down 418 awhp with only 10psi of boost.

The Lotus Club had a huge turnout! They actually won an award for having the biggest group of cars this year.

Great pics again, Alex! Hopefully C&C won't fall on the same day next year. I'd really like to attend. Great info about that XR4Ti. I bet that's a blast to drive!

 

It's not my XR4Ti (but I really wish it was). I met Tim, the owner, at the show and he filled me in on his car. Thanks for the kind words though. I definitely need to get my butt in gear and get my XR4Ti back on the road soon though!
