Actually, since we had so many cars at the event before the original 9AM start time, we moved the start time to 8AM. The event will end at 11AM.

We're usually there by 7:30AM to set-up.

 

Although the R8 is an exotic car, we'd like to see all the Audi's parked together. We're going to keep most marques together this year and save the "exotics" section for the "super-dooper" exotic cars .

Can't wait to hear that R8 rumble!

How is an "exotic" defined? $, brand, etc.

 

We are parking, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Maserati's, Bentley's etc in the Exotic area.
When a Carrera GT shows up, it will park with the other Porsches even though it's definatelty more exotic than a Maserati. The Italian cars will go in the middle this year. If you show up early enough, I'll make sure you have the best spot in the Audi area (and one of the best spots in the whole property).

 

Since I am new, I was just asking. It does not matter to me where I park. The only thing unique to the R8 is the doors need ~5' to open completely. This poses problems when looking for a parking spot in a ramp or full lot. You get that "arrogant P*ick" look if you take up two parking spots.

 

Don't worry. I will make sure you have plenty of room to park it.

 

I like your avtar. I had a '66 911 that I raced at Riverside raceway in Riverside, CA back in '68. I had a similar picture taken of my car on two wheels on turn six. I did not even know I was on two wheels. Scary when I saw the picture.
